Overview
- This is a Seasonal Quest which is only active once per year, normally after a week into the December event. In 2011 the quest was activated on Friday 16th December and will run thought till Tuesday, January 3rd 2012 when it will be once again deactivated.
- The rewards from this quest vary by level:
- For level 36 or lower, running this quest results in XP sufficient for one full level for every Gift Box you use.
- For levels 37-49, running this quest results in 1.5 million experience for every Gift Box you use.
- For higher level characters your reward for using the Boxes is one of the random rewards (see Item Rewards below).
- For completing all 12 Boxes you are additionally rewarded with a Pet summoning item.
Walk Through
- Travel to 12 locations scattered throughout Dereth to find 12 hidden Gift Boxes.
- Use each Box for a special reward (experience or one of five trophy rewards listed below) and the title Gifted.
- Once you've used all 12 Boxes you will be rewarded with an Enchanted Olthoi Egg that summons the Pet Olthoi Soldier and the second title Seasonal Seeker.

Town Crier tells you, "A close family friend of mine discovered some giant gift on his way to visit me for the holiday season. I wonder if there are more gifts around Dereth?"
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "The only giant gift box I want would be full of ale!"
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "I found a nicely packaged little gift box the other day. I was tempted to open it, but I resisted the temptation. The last time I opened up a strange gift that some stranger had left for me, I ended up on this godforsaken world."
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "No, wait, that's how I ended up naked and penniless in Canfield with a big bruise on my forehead. I ended up here because I drunkenly stumbled into a portal, thinking it was a clever new kind of outhouse."
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, "It's a time for giving and I hear someone has left giant gift boxes around Dereth. Mine was full of ale."

Notes
- During the Gaining Ground event, an experience reward was added for players who are below level 50.
- During the Dead of Winter event, the pet reward was changed from a Polar Ursuin to an Olthoi Soldier.
- During the Present Dilemma event, A'nekshay Tokens and Ornate Gear Markers were added as a possible rewards.
