You can use either pyreals or exact trade notes when purchasing a home. For example, if purchasing a Villa you can use 8 MMD Notes or 2,000,000 pyreals.
After purchase of a dwelling, the first period's rent/maintenance is due. The next due date can be found on the Housing tab of the Map panel.
Apartment
Required to purchase: 1 Writ of Refuge, 100,000 pyreals, Level 20+.
Maintenance: 10,000 pyreals every three months
No additional items are needed.
Cottage
Required to purchase: 1 Writ of Refuge, 300,000 pyreals, Level 20+, one trophy item (see below)
Maintenance: 30,000 pyreals each month
Villa
Required to purchase: 5 Writs of Refuge, 2,000,000 pyreals, Level 35+, one trophy item (see below)
Maintenance: 2 Writs of Refuge, 100,000 pyreals each month

WARNING! You do not meet the requirements to maintain ownership of your house because you are under the minimum allowed allegiance rank level! Please correct this situation before the end of this maintenence period or you will be evicted from your house.
Notes
- In Waking From the Abyss, all characters on the account owning a house now have access to the house UI panel and the maintenance status. In addition, all characters on the account will now receive the pink warning message if maintenance has not been paid.
